Quick and easy – knit in the round. The black beanie is knit with k1 p1 rib and then stocking stitch on the crown. The blue one was k2 p2 rib all the way and also knit in the round.

Seems odd to expect 8 year olds to wear black beanies and gloves to school when the uniform is a great blue. But I guess black shoes, socks and shorts need black beanies and gloves. Anyway it is done now and his ears are warm.

I am working on Viggos beanie while away this weekend and then I will be back to my skirt and top in various cottons.
